Futurama is currently one of the major series topping the adult programming block every night these days, and now the block is celebrating the franchise with a special video featuring every time Professor Farnsworth says “Good news, everyone!” The long-running animated series from Matt Groening and David X. Cohen has had one of the most bumpy rides over the years. It’s been on with multiple networks, has come back from cancellation a few times, and is gearing up for a new revival series that will bring the series back from its cancellation again in the near future.
But while Futurama has had a tough road in terms of getting new episodes off the ground, the reason it’s in high demand from so many fans is because it does so well in terms of its mass play regardless of which network it happens to be running. The latest transformation saw his return to Adult Swim after many years, and he’s been a huge hit for the block as a pillar of their nightly programming. Now Adult Swim is going the extra mile with a video that tracks each “Good news, everyone!” From the first seven seasons of the series. You can check it out below:
Futurama She is currently working on a brand new revival series that will continue where the original run left off. It was announced earlier this year that Hulu plans to bring back the popular animated series for 20 new episodes with a release planned sometime in 2023. Unfortunately, this revival series was initially hit by a roadblock as John DiMaggio, who The voice of Bender among many other prominent characters in the series, they were delayed from joining the cast due to wage disputes.
Then it was confirmed earlier this spring that DiMaggio has officially signed on to return for new episodes along the rest of the cast from the original series. But now that it’s set, Futurama fans can rest easy knowing that not only do the classic seasons air on networks like FXX and Adult Swim and air on Hulu, but there will soon be some brand-new episodes that will bring the franchise back.
