Jeremy Slater from Moon Knight breaks Arsenal in the shape of the moon

When Marvel Studios revealed their first look at Oscar Isaac in a Moon Knight costume, she was met with nothing but praise. The costume was too accurate for the comics and featured a very cool gadget found in the rangers’ chest. The crescent moon symbol Knight also served as a weapon in the shape of the moon, and we were wondering how the character replaced anything he lost. ComicBook.com recently had a chance to speak with Moon Knight head writer Jeremy Slater and reveal a very simple reason for how the character does it.

“Yeah, I think it’s all supernatural, just kind of magical, because the whole outfit is kind of a manifestation of Khoncho’s powers,” Slater revealed to us. “So my thinking is that he probably has a way to regenerate those crescents, that he doesn’t have to run across the battlefield after everyone’s unconscious and collect all his blades and his little toys. But it’s also the kind of thing that you’re trying to just cover up as a writer because once you have to To explain these things, then you are on your way to the weeds.”

Moon Knight’s future is in limbo now although the series featured a post-credits scene which lays out some interesting things for the character, so hopefully we’ll see where Mark Spector and Stephen Grant end up sooner rather than later. During a new interview with the director of SFX Magazine, Mohamed Diab revealed that Moon Knight is here to stay.

“If you ask me, I will tell you that Moon Knight is here to stay,” Diab explained. “He’s an interesting character. If you’re a Marvel, I think the smart business decision is to keep him. The only thing is that Marvel isn’t traditional. If you succeed, it doesn’t mean you’ll get season two. By the way, I’m still in the dark. I don’t have the slightest An idea. I’m only thinking like an entrepreneur now. But I think they’ll stay. Maybe it’s going to be a movie. Maybe it’s a journey like what happened with WandaVision. I hope someday, if there’s an expansion, I’ll be a part of it. We ended in a way that feels like a beginning. See Mark and Stephen They become a new dynamic, two of them in one body. We see Jake. You see Scarlett Scarab, who can be a superhero or not. Very interesting stuff.”

Marvel Studios and Disney+ describe the series as follows: “Moon Knight follows Stephen Grant, a benign gift shop employee, who suffers from blackouts and other life memories. Stephen discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares his body with mercenary Mark Spector. As enemies converge. Stephen/Mark on them, they must navigate their complex identities as they plunge into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.” All episodes of Moon Knight from Marvel Studios are now available on Disney+.
