Fantastic Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba cosplay artist has surprisingly brought the entire Hashira collection to life! Since she was introduced at the end of the first season of the anime, Hashira has been one of the most interesting characters in the franchise overall. Given the strength of both the demons that Tanjiro Kamado and the others had fought against up to this point, and how easy it was for both the Insect to bridge that gap, fans were eager to see both of these fighters enter the fray themselves. Fortunately, it wasn’t long before we got this opportunity.
Over the course of the feature film Mugen Train and the Entertainment District arc seen in the second season of the anime, fans were able to see some of Hashira getting into the action and here the series revealed that they were just as human as humans. Tanjirou and the others were as well. Despite their adorable appearance, they were in danger like everyone else. So while the whole group may not be around anymore, at least they’re live by super creative salutes from artists like blackmilow on Instagram! Check it out below:
The Mugen Train and Entertainment District offered Kogoro Ringoku and Tengen Ozue, but they won’t be present in the upcoming battles. He quipped at the end of Season Two that the stakes only increase from now on as higher-ranking true demons under Muzan Kibutsuji will take the next step. We’ll see that all this comes to fruition with the current third season of the anime as it adapts the Swordsmith Village Arc from Koyoharu Gotoge’s original manga series.
The Swordsmith Village arc reveals some massive new threats that haven’t yet appeared in the manga, but they will be facing two new members of Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji and Muichiro Tokito. Like the Hashira fighters seen before, each of these fighters has quite a few skills at their disposal and they will all be showcased over the course of some of the anime’s biggest fights to date. Unfortunately, no release date has been set for these new episodes yet.
