After seeing the new Matt Reeves in Gotham City in Batman, my favorite actor to portray the Caped Crusader is…well, still Kevin Conroy, but the new movie is the new favorite of the live-action Batman movies. However, a major component that explains why I love the movie is the emotional and layered performance of Robert Pattinson, who caused quite a stir on the internet when he was first cast as Bruce Wayne. He killed him in the coveted role (not literally, of course, because that would be against Batman rules), which now makes me wonder: What would Pattinson do in the Marvel Cinematic Universe??
Now, to be clear, I’m super excited to see what he does more of as Batman in the upcoming DC movies, and I hope he’s able to stick with the role for as long as he pleases. However, my amusement for the way he handled the character made me, admittedly, curious about other comic book heroes (or villains) who might be a good fit to bring to life any new Marvel movies. Plus, imagining our favorite actors as Marvel characters is just too much fun. We’ll start with a character who bears some resemblance to her most famous movie role.
King Hannibal
Long before he won the respect of comic book fans around the world (and many critics too), Robert Pattinson became an instant household name after joining the twilight Cast as Edward Cullen, the vampire protagonist written by Stephanie Meyer. Since she’s starred in more daring movies, like good time or of course BatmanHe seems to have taken steps to move on from this pivotal chapter in his life. However, I think he might want to reconsider giving it up entirely because revisiting his days as a vampire would lead to a great opportunity in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It is well known among Marvel movie fans that Kevin Feige and the company are rerunning a file code Movies with Mahershala Ali in the title role of a human who uses his natural vampire-like abilities to hunt down a creature. One of his ally who (reluctantly) happens to be a full-blooded vampire is Hannibal King, who was previously portrayed by Ryan Reynolds in the 2003 film triple blade. King is a character we’d love to see return to the big screen in the upcoming reboot, and someone from Pattinson’s experience as a former vampire actor is sure to land the role.
Baron’s blood
On second thought, perhaps the idea of playing a man who hates the fact that he’s a vampire is too close to Robert Pattinson’s home. So, instead, why not show him as someone who actually enjoys being a creature of the night and using his strange abilities to achieve malicious intent? If the actor is interested in that kind of idea, there’s also a perfect opportunity lurking in Marvel Comics with Baron Blood.
John Falsworth is a British nobleman who was originally born during the Victorian era and would be known as Baron Blood after being bitten by anyone other than Count Dracula himself. The German army later enlisted its supernatural abilities to aid in their efforts for supremacy during both the two world wars and other notable conflicts throughout history – and that’s just one reason why this marvelous beast from Marvel certainly deserves to be included in the aforementioned. code Reboot. If so, I think Robert Pattinson would be someone worth considering, not to mention it would be an interesting turning point to see him play the villain.
priest
I wouldn’t be surprised if Robert Pattinson had no intention or interest in playing a vampire of any kind again. However, he might be open to revisiting another type of fictional character he portrayed in what would actually be his first starring role in a feature film: young magician Cedric Diggory in 2005. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. If returning to the Wizarding World was something he contemplated despite his character’s unfortunate fate, a potential solution might lie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
One of Marvel’s previous mystery fictional characters was a mental monster hunter named Doctor Druid, who was later revealed to have fathered a son named Sebastian, who also bears his last name. After discovering that his magical powers actually stemmed from DNA that matches the type of creatures his father preyed on, he comes to Doctor Strange to help him better understand his abilities. without giving up much Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madnessthe inner circle of the former Sorcerer Supreme is starting to expand and Druid is such a character that it would also be great to see him join the franchise, especially with someone of Pattinson’s talent in that role.
big victory
One of Robert Pattinson’s latest, especially underrated, credits is in director Claire Dennis’s bizarre 2018 drama. fine life. He stars in the science fiction film produced by A24 as a man named Monty, one of several criminals who take part in an experiment in human reproduction in an isolated deep space community. If he has enjoyed working in a cosmic environment and has always been interested in revisiting that world, the Marvel Universe is full of options.
For example, there’s Vance Astro, known as Major Victory: the original leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy since the group debuted in 1969. Of course, it’s worth noting that most of these psychokinetic space traveler “victories” have to be credited with his suit Symbiotic Adamantium blocks that block the aging process. Considering that the next sequel to James Gan Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Probably the last we’ll see of the titular heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this is probably a fun new addition to the franchise’s cosmic lineup and could make Pattinson a root for him.
Wolverine
you know what? It seems to me that Robert Pattinson is really the type of actor who prefers to avoid repeating himself and has no interest in playing vampires or any other magical characters either. That said, however, he’ll be leading another Batman movie in the next few years, so perhaps the gruff, burdened, and morally tormented Avengers are the exception to the rule. In that case, why not be the one reprising another fan-favorite comic book character with these core qualities on the big screen, but for the first time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
It wasn’t actually just his performance in Batman, but also Pattinson’s physicality that convinced me he’d be a good choice to succeed Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. I’m not the first person to imagine How would this look Either and I think that’s enough evidence to prove he deserved a fatal blow on the mutant Claws of adamantium when Marvel Studios rebooted X-Men Movies. Either him or his predecessor Harry Potter Co-star Daniel Radcliffe would be perfect, as far as I’m concerned.
This is one of the first times I’ve had a virtual comic book movie selection session and feel completely comfortable with the possibility that the celebrity in question will never play any of these characters. why? Like I said before, Robert Pattinson is a good Batman, but it’s still fun pretend play, isn’t it?
