Nvidia RTX 40 series could launch earlier in Summer 2022

It looks like Nvidia is already preparing to announce and launch its RTX 40 series graphics cards in 2022 early in the first half of Q3, one leak claims.

Despite AMD’s massive efforts in competing against Nvidia in the GPU market, Jensen Huang and his team at Nvidia still have a larger market share than AMD. As more and more games offer DLSS support for Nvidia’s GPUs, greatly boosting performance in games, AMD’s FSR is slowly growing into AAA titles.

It was only two years before Nvidia unveiled the RTX 30 series graphics cards with amazing architecture and amazing power, but it looks like these cards won’t dominate the market anymore as the green team is determined to introduce the RTX 40 series GPUs soon!

It looks like Nvidia is trying to reveal the next generation of GPUs ahead of AMD and Intel

According to kopite7kimi, a trusted PC gaming insider and leaker, Nvidia has already changed the schedule for the announcement and launch of the RTX 40 series GPUs, and we can expect them to be revealed earlier in the third quarter of 2022, which could be either in July or August 2022.

Similar to the RTX 30 series, Nvidia will likely announce higher tier cards first. It’s not yet clear how many models will be available at launch, but if the plan goes according to the RTX 30 series, we can expect the RTX 4070 and RTX 4080 to be announced at least this summer. The RTX 4090 and RTX 4060 GPUs, if any, may be revealed later.

There’s no word on the price of the new GPUs, but you can expect them to come off the market once they’re available for pre-order, much like the launch of the RTX 30 series.
