Shield Hero Rise He’s gearing up for the final arc of Season 2, and amplifying what’s to come with an important new addition to the cast! The series’ second season has officially crossed the halfway point with the previous episode, putting an end to the first major arc in which Naofumi and his party defeated the Soul Turtle. It is then revealed that the fight is not really over as Naofumi encounters another new hero from another world, but now he is entering this new world in order to end everything forever.
After introducing other heroes from another world with waves in the first season, and the new book villain hero with that first arc in the second, The Rising of the Shield Hero will now show what that whole world looks like. Here Naofumi and his party will meet a young warrior named Kizuna Kazayama, who is also one of the main heroes summoned to defend the world of Glass back home. The series announced that it will be voiced by Mio Tomita (Made in the abyssRico Kaguya-sama: Love is WarMiko Iino), and you can check out her character design below:
