Previous rumors claimed that there was a modified version of Red Dead Redemption Modern platforms may become more viable in light of the new update from Take-Two Interactive. For those unaware, Take-Two is the parent company of Rockstar Games and the company recently outlined the broad plans it has for the coming years. Although it is not expressly stated that a modified version or a new edition of Red Dead Redemption Coming any time soon, it certainly seems reasonable considering what the publisher has lined up.
Take-Two stated in a new financial presentation that it plans to release eight “new versions of previously released titles.” Essentially, this means that Take-Two will rework or rework eight different games from the back catalog and release over the coming years. At this point in time, we don’t know what any of these games could be, but Red Dead Redemption It seems like an incredibly likely candidate to move to new platforms simply because it will do so well in terms of sales.
Overall, it would make perfect sense for Rockstar and Take-Two to look for a remaster Red Dead Redemption at this time. The biggest reason for this is that, as is currently the case, the Red Dead Redemption feature may be dormant for a few more years. Rockstar itself has already confirmed that it is in development Grand Theft Auto 6Which means that the studio is probably too busy with that game to be able to develop a new Red Dead project at the same time.
