McMahan created Solar opposites side by side Rick and Morty Co-author and star Justin Roiland. “We have a lot of plans and everything we’ve come up with in solar, it’s kind of, when do we do that,” McMahan said. “It’s almost like unpacking a gift really slowly because once you unwrap it, it unpacks, and it’s really really slow moving until you actually get to it. So we kind of tweaked a few times and it was like, ‘Oh, should we do this thing that we want to do? With The Pupa yet? “
