Who really killed Sarah? [spoilers]

It was revealed on the seventh and final episode of Who Killed Sara? In season three, Sarah Guzman actually killed herself and Mariver wasn’t what we thought in season two.

What makes the mystery of Sarah’s death even more surprising is the fact that she didn’t actually die as a result of a parachute fall that we saw all the way back in season one.

Instead, she is secretly taken out of the hospital by a new character, Dr. Rinaldo – the man Nicandro was talking to on the phone.

Played by legendary French actor Jean Reno, Rinaldo hoped to find a cure for schizophrenia, which Sarah believed inherited from her father Abel, and homosexuality.

Through his Medusa program, Rinaldo tortures Sarah as part of his experiments, leaving her almost devastated.

However, before Rinaldo could completely bend Sarah to his will, the young woman managed to put her hands on a knife and stabbed herself in the stomach in front of Rinaldo.

In the end, Sarah no longer wants to be a lab rat for Rinaldo and Project Medusa, so she decides to take her own life.
