Wandavision It was the first TV series from the Marvel Cinematic Universe released on Disney+ and according to many MCU fans, it is still one of the best series. With the return of the Scarlet Witch as a villain for Doctor Strange in a multiverse of madnessIt looks like one of the creators responsible for the dead-end days of Wanda and Vision is set to join the Apple TV+ series that is set to bring back Godzilla and the Titans who first appeared in MonsterVerse from Legendary PIctures. Needless to say, this would be the perfect match for many a pop culture fan.
Shakman is set to direct the first two episodes of this new kaiju-filled series, while also taking on the role of executive producer. For his work on Wandavision, the director earned an Emmy nomination and worked on a number of different series during his time in the industry, including the likes It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Made for Men, Game of Thrones, and Boys. While details are still being revealed when it comes to the return of Godzilla and his companions to the Titans, rumors have started swirling that Wyatt Russell is striving to be the show’s lead man, with additional rumors swirling about his famous father, Kurt Russell, he may also have a role waiting for him.
The official description of this upcoming series, According to Varietyit reads like this:
“Following the resounding battle between Godzilla and the Titans that destroyed San Francisco and the shocking new fact that monsters are real, the Monsterverse series will explore one family’s journey to uncover their buried secrets and a legacy that connects them to the secret organization known as the Monarch.”
Wanda’s future after her last MCU appearance and her fight against Stephen Strange is up in the air at this point, though given how popular Elizabeth Olsen is, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Scarlet Witch once again returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe down the line.
