PlayStation seems to go beyond just bringing its classics back to PS Plus, as it’s also adding some new features along the way.

Once the news was announced, fans were pretty excited that games back in the day didn’t have any kind of trophy support, as this feature was released from the PS3 era onwards.

The immediate question a lot of gamers might ask is whether Xbox backwards compatibility features this as well. While the original Xbox games have some visual improvements and faster load times, the achievements are still missing from the games. Obviously, there are some players who don’t care at all about achievements, but there is still a large portion of the fan base who enjoy chasing after those accomplishments.
Whether this trend will follow in other PlayStation classics as well is unknown at this point. However, it is very likely that Bend Studios has set precedence that other developers will also follow. However, one should not expect the same for third-party addresses because it is very unlikely to happen.
