Naruto teases Amado’s real goal for Kawaki

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Excite more and more about what is Amado’s true goal for Kawaki with the new chapter of the series! The fallout from Isshiki Otsutsuki’s attack on Hidden Leaf Village is still being explored with the latest chapter of the series, and it’s just beginning to learn just how strange Amado has evolved over the course of the arcs thus far. Since he forcibly negotiated his way into protection by Hidden Leaf, it was obvious that he was working on something secret far from anyone else’s knowledge.

The new chapter deepens this mystery even more. When it was revealed that Kawaki had been implanted with a new karma mark that Amado had slipped into his new arm, not only did it raise questions about what this might mean for Kawaki’s new desire for power, it also began to make fans wonder why Amado was forcing a new karma mark on him in Primarily. With the latest chapter of the series, Amado’s plan becomes more tangible as he clearly needs a Kawaki with Karma fully operational.

Chapter 70 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations He sees Kawaki trying to internalize his sense that he needs karma in order to fight, and Sumer tries to explain to him that it is possible that Amado has returned karma to him for his own purposes. While Amado and Shikamaru nervously talk through an Ino jutsu while Eda and Code threaten both, Amado then tries to persuade Shikamaru to stop Kawaki from fighting against Eda. He even goes so far as to say that he can’t “risk” Kawaki in this way since Kawaki is nearly dead fighting Code alone.

He then explained that since Kawaki has the Otsutsuki genes, he’s the only one who can counter Eda’s abilities which is a better outcome for them all if Code and Kawaki end up taking each other out one day. What’s more, if Kawaki and Boruto can enhance their own power as much as possible before the final conflict really begins. With all this strategy in hand, it is now clear that Amado is trying to stop Kawaki from holding back so he can become much stronger.

It’s still pretty vague as to what he actually wants to do with Kawaki’s Karma, but what do you think? What do you really think of Amado’s plan for Kawaki?
