American Idol 2022: This is the winner of this year’s season

Today was the season finale for the 20th edition of American Idol, during the final show, the contestants did their best to become the next idol.

The topic of today’s show was The Boss Springsteen, where Kentucky construction worker Noah Thompson eventually won the competition.

It’s been somewhat of a surprise to everyone since HunterGirl has been pushed as the season’s favorite contestant since Luke Bryan handed her her first-ever platinum ticket.

Not trained in music

On the other hand, we have Noah, who never thought of having a music career because he had no musical education, in fact, he wouldn’t have joined the American Idol team had it not been for his co-worker Arthur who recorded him.

His friend Arthur persuaded the judges

His friend made an argument for him by saying he was “not born to work with us” and it seems he was absolutely right because the public and voters connected with his story and ultimately favored the underdog.

The runners-up were HunterGirl and Leah Marlene

The finale lasted three hours and the three of them performed songs from all-American rock and roll idol Bruce “The Boss” Springsteen where Leah sang “Cover me”.

Noah took first place

Noah reenacted songs from the season, when his highlight became Rihanna’s song “Stay”, took it all and gave HunterGirl a run for her money, and the moment he knew was when Governor Katy Perry mentioned that this was one of my favorite songs she’d sung all season. I’m glad you chose it. And growth! Since I last sang it until I sang it tonight, I hit a few tunes,” then Luke concluded by saying “When you sang that earlier in the season, we knew, we knew, you had something.” I proved it more in a little while,”

Congratulations Noah, we wish you an amazing career.
