Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Production recently ended, and director James Gunn previously confirmed that this will be the last movie to feature the original guardians crew. Chris Pratt (Peter Quill/Star-Lord), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Dave Bautista (Drax), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Sean Jean (Kraglin/Rocket on Set), Boom Klementieff (Mantis), Bradley Cooper (Rocket) ), and Vin Diesel (Groot) all back for the movie, which is also set to feature some newcomers. New additions to the cast include Chukwudi Iwuji as Unknown and Will Poulter as Adam Warlock, the character who is annoyed at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. During a recent interview with PlaylistPoulter spoke about the testing process and revealed that he didn’t know what part it was.
“I took the test for the first time in June of last year [2021]And it was my first time auditioning, and then I got the role in September, I think,” Poulter explained. Then I started shooting in December… I didn’t know the character, at first, I was auditioning for. I kind of knew closer to time [of casting] Whom do you read. Although I was not familiar with Adam Warlock beforehand, I was very familiar with him Guardians of the GalaxyAnd it was my favorite kind of “planet” in the Marvel universe, if you like. I’m such a big fan of the tone, the creativity, the work of James Gunn and so many actors, you know, that I now call my co-workers, and I’m so grateful for them. So, having any role in this world is very nice to me.”
In a recent interview with directAnd Poulter’s friend and former actress Molly Quinn said that John reached out directly to ask what it was like to work with Poulter on the set.
“James, he asked me how my experience was working with Will. I think he asked a couple of other people too, because James is great and always checks everyone’s references,” Quinn shared. “He wants to work with his friends, and if he’s working with new people, he wants them to become friends. I’ve only had glowing things to say about Will.”
Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. It will be released on May 23, 2023. But first, The Guardians will be seen in Thor: Love and Thunder On the eighth of July and in Galaxy Holiday’s Special Guardians later this year.
