In our ComicBook.com review of Weird things4, critic Patrick Kavanaugh says the following:

Netflix Weird things It represents the rare example in which property not only dominates the conversation of popular culture but also receives high marks from critics. Now that it’s been nearly three years since the final batch of episodes was revealed and fan interest continues, there’s a lot riding on how fans will respond to the final season… Watch the first seven episodes of Weird things Season 4 is a lot like catching up with old friends, including all the forced little chatter and awkward exchanges before the dynamic falls into its familiar groove, for better or worse, while still pushing itself to get bigger, worse, and better.

Members Weird things They’re definitely nibbling on a bit for this new season: Netflix recently released the first 8 minutes of Season 4 online, and the horror and mystery hit 100. The first scene of the season reveals a terrifying day Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) was berserk and killed all the talented kids Psychologist in the laboratory of Dr. Brenner (Matthew Modine). Eleven has already prepared for an arc that could (tragically) be revealed to be the biggest threat the Hawkins have to worry about – even before they have to travel to the Upside Down and face the Mind Flayer – whose presence will bring his presence known in a more direct way!

The show’s creators, The Duffer Brothers, have promised that with the arrival of this high-volume season, really big things are going to happen, as Stranger Things begins to enter its end:

“As we sat down to do it [Season] 4, we knew we had to start giving some of these big answers,” said Ross Dover IGN. “And the moment we started giving some of these big answers, it meant that the end inevitably had to be in sight. And that really drove us to announce that Season 5 would be our last.”

Weird things season 4 vol. 1 airs on Netflix on Friday 27 May; The remaining episodes will arrive on July 1.
