Marks first appeared in Depp v. Heard on May 2.

During his initial appearance, Marks was quoted as saying, “I suppose Amber Heard thought her career would improve by bringing this up (Depp’s article). I don’t know.”

Today, on the twenty-first day of the case, Marx appeared for the second time.

He was brought to the podium as a witness on Depp’s side.

according to daily MailToday, Marks was asked what he thought of comments made by Catherine Arnold this week.

Arnold had claimed that Johnny Depp’s career suffered “quite a bit” as a result of Heard’s 2018 opinion piece. Arnold also claimed that it was Heard who actually suffered career-wise, as he compared the actor to the likes of Jason Momoa and Zendaya.

Richard Marx did not agree with these claims. Testified in court today Arnold’s comments were “largely speculative”.

Marks went on to claim that Amber Heard’s career cannot be compared to the likes of Jason Momoa and Zendaya.

He justified this argument by citing Momoa’s role in Game of Thrones and Zendaya’s powerful one-name label.
