Hunter x Hunter Creator shares first look at new chapters

Hunter X Hunter Fans have exploded over talk of a possible comeback from the series’ longest manga hiatus to date, and the series maker behind the series has fanned the flames even further with a first look at the returning manga chapters! Things were developing so fast for the franchise that a mysterious Twitter account that appeared to belong to it surfaced Hunter X Hunter And Yo Yo Hakusho Series creator Yoshihiro Togashi, and fans were happy to get an update that the manga is developing return chapters. Now the Creator was fanning this fire even more.

While Shueisha themselves have yet to confirm whether this mysterious new Twitter account actually belongs to Yoshihiro Togashi, it increasingly appears that this is the case as the creator followed up on his initial tweet to update fans about the manga’s progress with a first look at one of the new chapters. It’s a vague look at a tree with no context, but it’s definitely an indication that Togashi has been working hard for the manga’s comeback… wherever that is in reality. Check out the first look at the question below:

Hunter X Hunter A new chapter was released in 2018 with Chapter 390 of the series, and there were a lot of massive changes for both Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and the world at large. This will mean that fans will likely need to catch up with the current location of the manga, but unfortunately, only the last three seasons of the series are available through Manga Plus. With the anime also ending far beyond where the manga is currently, it will be a tough road to catch up before the series returns.

As for when the series will return, Togashi previously indicated that each return of the series was planned with the release of ten seasons, but things may have changed in four years. With the first tweet indicating the completion of four chapters and a display of number six, it looks like Togashi may be working toward the next 10 move to move the series through the next stage of the succession contest arc. It also makes this tree more interesting because the manga is on a boat in the middle of the sea!

What do you think? What do you hope to see from Hunter x Hunter’s big comeback? Are you all involved in the long chain of events? Will you need to catch up in time?
