Paul Gosar Deletes Tweet After False Claim That Salvador Ramos Was a Transgender

Arizona party congressman Paul Gosar deleted a post on Twitter after falsely claiming that Ulvade shooter Salvador Ramos was a transgender, interested in trade reports.

Paul Gosar deletes tweet after false claim

On Tuesday, May 24, the Arizona Republican congressman shared a false allegation about Salvador Ramos calling the shooter an “illegal left-wing transgender alien.” According to Business Insider.

The port reports that the Twitter post was removed two hours after it was posted. Gosar has not submitted a publication or follow-up statement at the time of writing.

What we know about the shooter

As reported by CBS, Salvador Ramos entered Robb Elementary School at approximately 11:30 a.m. after his car crashed into the school’s barriers. After entering the school, Ramos killed at least 19 children and two adults. He was then shot dead by law enforcement officers at the scene.

According to the outlet, Ramos also shot his grandmother before he drove to Robb Elementary School.

Greg Abbott confirmed that Ramos was an 18-year-old at Ovaldi High School, does not depend on reports. According to the outlet, Ramos was working the day shift at a local Wendy’s restaurant.
