Depeche mode ‘overwhelmed with grief’ as a keyboard player dies

Andy Fletcher, known for being one of the founding members of the band Depeche Mode, has passed away at the age of 60.

The news was announced on the band’s official page on Twitter, in a statement Read:

“We are shocked and filled with great sadness at the untimely death of our dear friend, family member, and bandmate Andy “Fletch” Fletcher.”

“Fletch had a true heart of gold and was always there when you needed support, a lively conversation, a good laugh or a cool pint. Our hearts are with his family, and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and respect their privacy at this difficult time.”
