Screenshots from the Callisto Protocol show the terrifying effect of dead space

Callisto Protocol Received a series of new screenshots revealing the effects of the game Dead Space. Callisto Protocol is an all-new science fiction horror game developed by Striking Distance Studios, a studio founded by Glen Schofield. Schofield is responsible for co-founding Call of Duty developer Sledgehammer Games as well as creating Dead Space. Although he has spent the past decade working on series largely unrelated to horror, Schofield was able to instill some horror into zombie situations in games like Call of Duty: World War II. After leaving the series, it looks like Schofield is going back to his roots to create something that will be very annoying to many players.

Callisto Protocol It received a series of new screenshots courtesy of Game Informer, and the game is wearing its Dead Space inspiration up its sleeve. From the gross, brutal looks of the monsters to how the camera stays on the player’s shoulder, it definitely looks like the spiritual successor to the Dead Space we’ve all been waiting for. It was also recently confirmed that Transformers actor Josh Duhamel will be joining the cast Callisto Protocol As the protagonist of the game, Jason Lee. The character is a cargo ship pilot who must make his way through a space prison on Jupiter’s moon, Callisto. Needless to say, there is a lot of scary sci-fi stuff going on in this game and it should leave its mark on the players.

As of now, there is no release date or gameplay for Callisto ProtocolBut we’ll likely hear more about it next week at Summer Game Fest. Striking Distance has reassured fans that the game will launch sometime in 2022 for both current and last generation platforms, so it should be widely available. If the game reaches the intended release window, it will beat the new version of EA dead spaceslated for launch in 2023.
