Famous Netflix drama from the Regency era Bridgeton We have been blessed with dramatic and romantic stories, yet a different Bridgerton each season. Season two focused on Jonathan Bailey’s Anthony and his love interest, Kate Sharma (Simon Ashley). While the season featured fewer steamy sex scenes than the first season with Daphne and Simon, there was one scene in particular that, according to Bailey, proved a bit embarrassing, and what happened next made it even more difficult.
Jonathan Bailey talks about everything Bridgeton And pressure to do romance the right way with Los Angeles Times. The topic quickly turned to the actor getting comfortable or embarrassed while filming some scenes, and he discussed the infamous bathtub scene at the beginning of Episode 5 when Anthony was filling in the scene that almost got away. Billy told a funny but embarrassing story about filming the scene, and was laughing at her memory:
There was a camera in the water between my legs looking at me. So it was like a water birth. And I remember then, I freaked out myself during the day we had it and was so confused, because you can’t really explain that to anyone.
While filming any scene in the bathroom can certainly be awkward, it was clearly more difficult with the camera positioned in such a way that it’s hard to explain. Although Jonathan Bailey appears to be a professional and able to joke about it, that’s not the worst of it.
Billy continued his story and mentioned meeting friends after filming. However, he managed to forget to take off his modesty thong, causing him to discover a surprise while in a bar:
It was only when the rules had changed and you could go meet people outside, so I went to a bar that night and had a pint with my mates. When I got up to get the second round, I was like, ‘I’m getting a little pissed off. And I realized I was still wearing a modesty thong, because I was so shocked and ran so fast from the group that I didn’t even take off my little bag. I still have it to this day.
Jonathan Bailey’s story just shows what the actors have to go through to make a scene perfect, even if it means going further. Hopefully Billy’s friends won’t give him a hard time about it, but it looks like he’s been laughing with them.
The Bridgeton The star isn’t the only actor who has trouble with decency thongs. In 2018, Dakota Johnson opened up about her difficult situation Fifty Shades Freed, sharing how her modest thong required a very strong adhesive because it kept coming off during filming. It was basically covered with super glue. At least Billy didn’t have that experience!
