On the show, Chrissy is portrayed as a kind, caring, and compassionate person. In fact, we started loving this new character after we saw her interaction with Eddie Monson.

Chrissy, a cheerleader for the basketball team at Hawkins High, had an undoubtedly promising future. Many fans believed that she would eventually become part of the gang; However, the Duffer Brothers had something else in mind for the character. In the first episode we notice that Chrissy was getting strange visions in which she hears a voice calling her name. Of course, we know that it’s Vecna who’s stalking Chrissy, but the show doesn’t confirm that until the end of the episode.

Stranger Things Season 4 Presents Chrissy, Just To Kill Her In The Premiere Episode
Chrissy doesn’t want to tell anyone about her nightmares, even though Max tries to confront her at school. Perhaps this is because she does not want to become an “eccentric” to the people of Hawkins. Anyway, Chrissy begins looking for medications to overcome her fear, and that’s when she interacts with Eddie.
At first, Eddie offered Chrissy his standard things, but she asked for something more powerful. So, later that day, Eddie takes Chrissy home while Max watches her from a distance. Eddie begins to search for what Chrissy ordered, but unfortunately, Vicina becomes possessed by Chrissy. It’s as if Chrissy’s body is in Eddie’s trailer, but her consciousness is elsewhere. She finds herself in a darker version of her home in Hawkins, where she sees a twisted version of her parents. So, obviously, Chrissy, at that point, was in the Upside Down, where Vecna was after her.

Chrissy tries to escape from Vicna, but the demon does not allow her to escape. On the other hand, Eddie tries to wake Chrissy up, thinking she’s having some kind of stroke.
Then Vecna tells Chrissy that her suffering will soon be over, after which he possesses Chrissy’s body and kills her in the most brutal way. Unfortunately, Eddie had to watch Chrissy’s mind and body shatter like how Joyce smashed the doll she receives from Russia.
