Beetlejuice fans are rejoicing over the sequel rumors as it looks like Johnny Depp will be joining the cast for the movie’s release which is said to be in 2025.
The rumors started at the end of the defamation trial between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife, Amber Heard.

The actor who is supposed to join Depp so far will be Michael Keaton reprise as Beetlejuice and Winona Ryder as her legendary character Lydia Dietz. It is also rumored that Tim Burton will take over as Director again

If you haven’t watched the iconic movie, the movie is about a dying couple who skip to the afterlife but their soul is somehow trapped between life and death so they can rest properly, and for that to happen they must be expelled. The new owners who bought their house, to do so, hired the services of the undead from Beetlejuice.
If you do a quick Google search for Beetlejuice 2 you will find that there are three familiar faces, Keaton, Ryder and Depp.

The history between Deep and Rider
If you remember, Winona was engaged to Johnny Depp for three years in the late ’80s and early ’90s, and Ryder defended Johnny throughout the trial.
She has claimed that her relationship with Depp was “totally different” from what his ex-wife says she was with the actor.
In 2020, Winona said, “I only really and honestly know him as a really good man – a very loving, very caring man who was very protective of me and the people he loved, and I felt very, very safe with him”

Ryder stated that she is “optimistic” that Beetlejuice 2 can get the green light.

“I’m in! I’m definitely excited and really hope it happens”
“The only way to do that is if everything is perfect and we have all the people – obviously Michael and Tim of course.”
