Katee Sackhoff from The Mandalorian teases the role of Bo-Katan in Season 3

The Mandalorian We haven’t had a new season premiere on Disney+ in over a year, but we haven’t lacked content featuring the character. Since the end of the second season, titular Pedro Pascal has been seen in multiple episodes of the Boba Fett book. When we last left him, Grogru made the decision to leave the Jedi and stay with the hero from Mandalore. One major addition to The Mandalorian Season two had Katee Sackoff playing the character she voiced in Star Wars: Clone Wars, Bo-Katan Kryse. Sakoff will return for the third season of the series, and the actress seems to have a lot to say about her role. While speaking at Star Wars Celebration, the actress revealed what the characters focus on when we see them again.

Her head is still attached to her body, which is a good thing, said Sakov. “I’ve said this before, my dad raised me on science fiction. He raised me on strong characters. When I was young, you didn’t have a lot of strong female characters to choose from. We had Sigourney, Linda, Lucy Lawless but I wanted to be Bruce Willis.” I wanted to save a building. To be able to play the role of the women I have been able to play throughout my career, this has been a gift and strong women continue to introduce themselves to me. These men at the end of the scale are responsible for creating many strong personalities. The fact that they are women, they are just Women. To be able to start with her 10 years ago and the fact that they trusted me to take it to life-work, I still hardened myself. The fact that you guys love her, flaws and everything, means the world. Thank you. You are in the forums fun.”

The next Star Wars series that will hit Disney+ will be Obi-Wan Kenobi. The series will feature the return of Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen, and the duo haven’t worked together since the last movie in the Star Wars trilogy, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. During the previous three stages, Christensen played only Darth Vader’s Anakin Skywalker side. McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi never met Darth Vader face to face. Now, that seems to have changed on the set of the Disney + series, and the experience made an impression on the actor.

“I’ve never met Darth Vader,” McGregor told Total Film, which features the role of Kenobi on its latest cover. “I rehearsed for the scene with Vader, but not with the helmet on or anything like that. When we came to do the scene, when they yelled ‘work,’ he had to come behind me. I turned, and stroked Darth Vader was approaching me. It was like If only I was six again. I’d never wear a Vader helmet. I’d never look him in the eyes.”

“She scared shit out of me,” the actor added. “I’m not kidding. It gave me a proper shock of sheer fear. I was like, ‘Oh my God, this doesn’t represent.’ this is really. I’m really, really scared now. And the same thing would happen with Stormtroopers. I worked with Clone soldiers before, but a lot of them were CGI. I’ve never worked with Stormtroopers, and again, I was seven years old again. Because when you’re actually facing one Stormtroop soldiers, with a cannon, it’s like: “Fucking hell.” It’s like actual childhood memories of fear. That’s how deep it goes into us. I’ve acted for 30 years, and I don’t really feel scared when I act scared…but I’ve had moments in this So scary. It’s so funny.”

Lucasfilm and the streaming service describe the series as follows: “In the era of the Galactic Empire, a former Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi embarks on a crucial mission. Kenobi must confront allies turned into enemies and confront the wrath of the Empire.” The first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi Streaming exclusively on Disney+. The series stars Ewan McGregor, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Pace, Kumail Nanjiani, Song Kang, Musa Ingram, Indira Varama, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Robert Friend, Simon Kessel and Benny Sadhvi.
