Pedro Pascal of The Mandalorian stole a LEGO Minifig prototype of his character

Star Wars Celebration celebrated its third day yesterday, which began with a panel dedicated to Star Wars: The Mandalorian. The event was marked by a surprise appearance from Pedro Pascal who stuck with him and visited the live theater later in the day. The actor had a chat with host Anthony Carboni, who shared a fun story about Pascal. Carbone joked about how fans think Pascal is “perfect and can do no wrong” but once revealed that he threw him under a bus with a very important LEGO theft…

Carbone explained that they were revealing The Mandalorian Playing at D23, this LEGO set included a Mando minifig. Apparently, these “one of a kind” prototypes were so important, Carbone was told he couldn’t touch or move any of the shapes. The pressure was on, and Carbone thought, “I better not screw this up.” When the event ended, Mando’s number was missing, and Carboni was searched. Of course, it turns out that Pascal took the game.

Pascal explained, “I was like, ‘This is small and this is me, this is mine.'” They came for me…They were like, ‘Ah, we need this.’

during the Mandalorian Billboard, Pascal teased what’s to come in the upcoming third season.

“The hardest part is all the creative ways that journalists find to try to cheat you, but I got really good at it,” the actor said. “The easiest part is that I don’t want anything to spoil anyone. I really, really don’t. I have a big mouth and don’t really keep any secrets. I want everything to be a surprise, and there are surprises coming in season three.”

“It was a dream come true,” Executive Producer Jon Favreau added of the show’s journey. “I really wanted to reduce it to a few characters, a personal story that takes place in this world…also an opportunity to bring in new people who might not be familiar with the traditions. This has become a ramp for entry. As we did they introduced characters that were before, thanks to the service of Disney+ live stream, they can go and watch it all.”

Favreau also noted that Star Wars has always been a sequential story. “They pick up and leave, and I think writing these segmented stories is a lot of fun,” he explained. “There’s an adventurous spirit in how it’s written…There’s a tremendous amount of freedom for the storytellers. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had and it’s a job I will continue to do for a while.”

Star Wars: The MandalorianThe third season is coming in February 2023.
