Will Hopper escape from Russia in Stranger Things Season 4, Part 1?
No, Hopper doesn’t escape Russia in Season 4, Part 1, but the Pessimist in Episode 7 sets his escape perfectly.
After taking Yuri hostage, Joyce and Murray are able to locate the prison where Hopper is and Murray pretends to be Yuri to get inside using Joyce and Yuri as prisoners.
Once inside, the couple encounter Hopper and Dmitriy Demogorgon, much to their shock.
Murray manages to convince a guard to open a door for Hopper to escape and Joyce is waiting for him on the other side.
Hopper’s concrete escape from a Russian prison will likely be a major event in the final two episodes of Season 4, but with the help of Joyce and Murray, the plan is now in motion.
How did Hopper end up in Russia?
