One of my cool Chainsaw man costumes really explodes with Reze the Bomb Devil! Although Tatsuki Fujimoto’s original manga series debut wrapped in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump some time ago, it’s still one of the most talked about franchises in recent memory. Helping to keep the love of the series alive is the fact that it’s not really over because Chainsaw Man is planning a full manga comeback with the second part of the series, but also the debut of a full anime adaptation currently slated to begin later this year.
Part of the reason the series has been such a continued success even after its run is over was all the main unique characters that were introduced across all of its pages. One of the most compelling came during the Bomb Girl arc with Reze, who was an entirely different enemy to Dingy as she used some emotional and even romantic tactics to get through his skin before fully revealing herself as the Devil’s Bomb. A brand new intense battle has begun, and now this awesome Bomb Devil design with some awesome cosplay from artist @breezy_cos has appeared on Instagram! Check it out below:
chainsaw man Series creator Tatsuki Fujimoto has worked hard on Part 2 of the manga, which will launch with Shueisha’s Jump+ app when it’s ready. However, there has been no confirmation on when the new chapters of the series will start, but Fujimoto has been steadily working on the series while releasing a new special one-shot manga at the same time. It will be captured after the end of the original series and follows Denji’s need to balance his new school life with his responsibilities as a chainsaw guy.
But it is possible that we will see the beginning of the adaptation of the anime. Produced by Studio MAPPA, there was unfortunately very little detail about what to expect from the cast, staff, or new release in the new series. It was slated to release sometime this year, but there was little promotional footage or material outside of the teaser of its initial announcement. With the end of the year approaching, a new update may be on the way.
