A survivor is rumored to feature Darth Maul

A new rumor has suggested it Star Wars Jedi: SurvivorThe highly anticipated sequel to Respawn Entertainment and EA’s fallen system, can feature the famous villain Darth Maul. At this time, it includes many details of the story Grandfather: Survivor shrouded in mystery. Although the developers at Respawn called the game completely dark, we still don’t know what to expect from its comprehensive narrative. Now, after Darth Vader appears in the finale fallen systemIt looks like Maul could be the next Star Wars villain to appear in the sequel.

This rumor in question stems from a video game industry insider by the name of Nick Baker, who has had a lot of fine details in the past. In the last episode of XboxEra podcastBaker shared that he had previously heard that Darth Maul would be playing a role in the events of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Baker added the caveat even though he heard about this information over a year ago, which means things have surely changed with the project since then.

In general, Darth Maul can fully appear in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor without causing continuity problems. Based on where the game is set within the larger timeline of Star Wars, Maul is still alive and currently running Shadow Collective. As he eventually dies years later in a fight with Obi-Wan, his story could certainly intersect with Cal Kestis at some point during the events of Grandfather: Survivor. However, take this rumor with the typical grain of salt for now.

Right now, the only thing we know for sure about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is that it’s gearing up for release sometime in 2023. When it arrives, it’ll only come to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC platforms.
