Fairy Tail Creator becomes cute with new Jovia drawing

Creator series behind fairy tale storyAnd the Hiro Mashima, got cute with some new art from Juvia Lockser to help celebrate her special day! While the manga series ended some time ago (but the official sequel series has continued the story in a new way to this day), fans have been keeping the series alive by celebrating some of their favorite characters. The franchise has been maintained by the creator himself, and he’s also often helped fans along with the holidays for special characters by honoring them with new art such as the shared art on Juvia’s special day.

Juvia’s Day may be celebrated on different days among fans, but Mashima helped cement the fact that June 3rd is a special Juvia day with some new special art for the heroine herself. She may have been seen working on the original series, but Mashima often shares a whole new side of her with special art with her Twitter fan. This is especially true with the newest drawing of the heroine this year, which you can check out below:

Thankfully Juvia is one of the many familiar faces who end up making a comeback for the series on the official sequel pages, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest. Running on a steady clip thanks to the comics by Hiro Mashima (which was then fully illustrated by his former assistant, Atsu Ueda), this sequel to the manga has been such a hit in its own right that it garnered an anime of his own. Unfortunately, no potential release date, cast, or production studio for the animated sequel has been announced as of this writing.

If you want to get a quick start on the sequel before the anime debuts, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Officially licensed by Kodansha Comics. They described the supplemental series as such, “Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Erza, and the entire Fairy Tail Guild are back! They’ve decided to tackle the ‘100 Years Mission’—a job that no one has dared take on since the Guild was founded over a century ago.” A mysterious city, a bewildering spirit, a horrific new enemy… and a new continent to explore. When you’re with true friends, the adventures never stop!”

what do you think? How do you like this latest look at Juvia? Where do you rank among your favorite Fairy Tail heroines? Where do you rank among your favorite characters in the series in general?
