Pedro Pascal the Mandalorian thinks of his reunion with Grugo in the Boba Fett book

In the second season of the episode The MandalorianDean sent Pedro Pascal’s Dean Garen to Grogu, aka “Baby Yoda”, with Luke Skywalker to be trained in strength techniques, leaving fans wondering when, or if the duo will cross again. Fortunately, viewers didn’t have to wait long to see this encounter, as they clashed Star Wars: The Boba Fett Book, confirming that Grogu chose to remain with his guardian rather than continue his training to be a Jedi. Pascal recently thought about the effect of a reunion with the beloved character.

“It was scary, wasn’t it? Being separated like this,” Pascal shared Empire Magazine from the first chapter. “John [Favreau] and Dave [Filoni, showrunners] They called me, and told me they’d be connecting seasons 2 and 3 boba fett book, regarding the Mandalorian and Grogo. I just thought this was great. What I didn’t expect was a beautiful, lonely episode directed by Bryce Dallas Howard that was incredibly beautiful. Also, for a reunion to be precious, but also surprising and natural.”

In the episode focused on Pascal’s Mandalorian, he goes to visit Grogu to hand him a protective shield made of Beskar, though Luke offers the option to Grogu himself to either accept the gift or continue training the Jedi. Grogu will then appear in a file boba fett book End of the season, he put his powers to the test by facing grudges.

Looking at the encounter, Pascal said that the sequence “reflects the power that Grogu develops, and begins to ask the question: Who will protect whom?”

Star Wars: Ahsoka Filming is currently taking place and will happen in the same time frame as The Mandalorianalthough it is said to function more as a live-action sequel series to Star Wars Rebels Than just a chance to cross with her Mandalorian.
