Rambunctious It will return with new chapters following the death of original series creator Kentaro Miura, and the manga has shared a new update for the series’ return. Unfortunately, original series creator Kentaro Miura passed away over a year ago, and with him his long dark fantasy series ended. Those working with Miura were able to complete one final chapter thanks to Miura’s final materials, but the publisher behind Young Animal magazine recently announced that they want to return to the series with entirely new chapters. With those closest to Miura leading the ship in the series after her death, there is a great deal of mystery.
While Hakusencha previously confirmed it Rambunctious Returning in the June 24th issue of Young Animal magazineA new update from the magazine revealed that the plan is to bring the series back with two new chapters and a color page to celebrate its comeback. These new chapters will be moderated by the manga author and close personal friend of Miura, Kouji Mori, and the series was announced to start right after the original series ended. So now fans will be able to prepare for the next phase of this hugely popular series.
The publisher of Young Animal previously spoke about their plans for Berserk’s return in a special message to fans that includes the following, “Before his death, Kentaro Miura spoke to his close friend Koji Mori about the stories and episodes he was thinking of. Rambunctious. He also had similar conversations with his studio staff and editor. He wondered, would everyone be surprised if I drew something like this? What about a character like that? Will this story be interesting? The conversations weren’t meant to be his last words, but they were part of his regular days as a manga artist.”
As the editorial team previously noted how they felt they wanted to complete the story for fans and for Miura, “Mr. Miura shared with us during that time. We also found diaries with ideas he wrote and designs for characters he drew and left behind. We were hesitant to finish his story without sharing it with his fans. We hope he will event or read the last episode we compiled to the last frame.”
