Earlier this week, Warner Bros. DC Comics and Dwayne Johnson have a huge event to show the first official trailer for black Adam. Attendees were able to see the trailer a day before its online launch and also have conversations with the lead actor. Johnson is known for his presence on social media, so you’d think he’d post something special about black Adam Event. Originally, black Adam It won’t be a solo movie. The character was supposed to appear in Shazam! Because heroes are the greatest enemies. Apparently the idea was to tell dual origin stories in one movie with Shazam and Black Adam facing off. But, Johnson and the company decided it would be best to separate the two films while giving Black Adam his solo project. During the film’s trailer launch event, Johnson revealed the reason for the studio’s decision to split the films.
“The original plan, maybe five or six years ago I think, was to tell my Shazam origin story! and Black Adam in the same movie. That’s what we worked on,” Johnson said. “The script was delivered. When we all read the script, I immediately felt, ‘We have to separate these two films.'” We honor Shazam! And that’s the origin story and what could it be for fans and then we also have to tell our own story as well. I think in separating them, with the majority of the world not knowing who Black Adam is if you’re not a serious comic book fan, it was important to separate them and tell each story in a row.”
