One Direction officially confirmed their split in 2016 after nearly a year of “hiatus.” Since then, each of the band members have worked hard in their solo career.
This year, Harry Styles has become one of the most popular music acts in the world, with his third solo album Harry’s House, reaching number one in over 20 countries, and charting at number one with As It.
However, since the band split, the Directioners have called on 1D to get back together. And recently, their odds seem to have slipped.
Previously, One Direction had fairly confident prospects of getting back together by the end of 2022.
But things have changed in the past few months.
Leading bookmaker Ladbrokes has given new odds for a 1D comeback together before the end of the year. This is not good news.

These new possibilities were released after Liam gave a thorough interview with Logan Paul on his podcast.
During the interview, Liam explained how he was the last artist in the band to go solo, but he got the most views.
Liam claimed his first single, Strip That Down: “I think she outdid everyone in the band, and I was the last to go.” [solo]. I never expected that.”
In fact, his song never reached a billion streams on Spotify, but every other member of the band’s number one singles did.
Liam also claimed that one of the band members “thrown him into the wall”.
He explained that he threatened the perpetrator to return.

Ladbrokes also gave odds of 1D 6/4 upon reunion in 2023.
“A One Direction reunion could be around the corner, and while a return for 2022 seems unlikely, the odds are that the boys may finally get back together next year,” said company affiliate Alex Abate.
Could next year be the moment fans have been waiting to see One Direction together again?
Although the odds are in their favour, there is plenty of riding against them.
The biggest obstacle of all is Harry himself.
Harry has spread in popularity over the past few years.
Just last year he appeared in his first Marvel movie, Eternals, and this year he will be starring in two new dramas – My Police and Don’t Worry Darling.
With his budding film career and his ever-improving music life, does he even need One Direction anymore?
