Former Los Angeles home of late Bob Saget hits market with nearly $8 million

Somewhere in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, the home that late comedian Bob Saget owned for nearly 20 years before his death in January of this year is now up for sale, according to the Wall Street Journal. The six-bedroom property is listed at a asking price of $7.765 million.

The home is spread over 6,608 square feet, with six bedrooms and six bathrooms. Saget reportedly bought the house in 2003 for $2.895 million, and lived there first with his three daughters and later with his second wife Kelly Rizzo, now the seller. And in an interesting family connection, the list is handled by Saget’s nephew, Adam Saget, who told the Wall Street Journal, “It’s an emotional, personal list that means a lot to me.”

The house dates back to the 1960s, and was extensively renovated before the Saget family came along in 2003. Here’s how it’s described in its official listing:

The spacious floor plan includes five bedrooms and a spacious master suite with high vaulted ceilings and an abundance of light. A natural fireplace, private patio, spa-like bathroom with bathtub, steam shower, and large walk-in closet Complete upstairs with 3 rooms and a large terrace Heart of the home on the main floor with a welcoming foyer, stone and hardwood floors throughout, and dramatic sky-lit two-story living room with room Adjoining dining, media/family rooms and guest room Stainless steel kitchen appliances, fireplace and breakfast have been updated Desk and pantry Separate guest house with full bathroom makes the perfect studio, office or gymnasium Surrounding the property is beautiful landscape-like Zen.”

The house is also equipped with plenty of smart tech and controls, due to Bob’s love of high technology, according to Adam Saget. You can take a look at the house in the slideshow below, from Video Studio by Compass, the real estate brokerage that handles the sale.
