New Persona Remasters confirmed for PS5 and Steam

The recently announced new releases of the three most popular games in the Persona series will also be rolling out to PlayStation 5 and Steam. Over the past day, Atlus announced that it will be bringing the popular RPG franchise to Xbox and PC with Persona 3 PortableAnd the Persona 4 GoldenAnd the Persona 5 Royal. And while some have wondered whether or not these new ports will make it to other platforms, we now have our answer.

According to a press release I have seen EurogamerAtlas has confirmed it Persona 3 PortableAnd the Persona 4 GoldenAnd the Persona 5 Royal Both are coming to PS5 and Steam in the future. Atlus hasn’t said when any of these games in question will be released, though, which means we don’t know when they might be released. Currently, Persona 5 Royal It’s set to hit Xbox and PC later this year on October 21. It remains to be seen if the game will lose out on Steam and PlayStation 5 or not.

Overall, it’s not surprising to see that all of these personal titles will also be coming to these additional platforms. Atlus has released this series mostly on PlayStation hardware in the past, so we can expect to see this happen again with the PS5. in addition to, Persona 4 Golden It actually launched on Steam in 2020, which seemed to indicate that Atlus would be looking to bring more games in the series to the Valve platform in the future.

Perhaps the saddest part about this news for many fans is that the Nintendo Switch still feels like a console that won’t be getting the Persona series anytime soon. Despite fan requests for a long period of time, it seems that Atlus is still not ready to bring last year’s character titles to the platform just yet. It remains to be seen whether or not this will change in the future, but for now, it looks like it hasn’t happened yet.

Are you looking to play any of these Persona games on your own once you end up releasing these many new platforms? Let me know for yourself either in the comments or you can connect with me on Twitter at Trustworthy.
