While it only ran for two seasons, Ryan Murphy Queens scream Earning a passionate following for a mixture of humor and horror, Murphy himself shared his excitement about a possible Season 3, a sentiment shared by co-star Emma Roberts. Playing Chanel Oberlin on the series, the actress not only enjoyed her time producing the series, but continued to be impressed by the impact her character has had on audiences, with new fans discovering the show year after year. In that regard, Roberts believes there is no time like the present to move forward with Season 3, although that decision is out of her hands. Fans can see Roberts next Uninhabitedwhich arrives on On Demand and Digital HD on June 17.
“I mean, look, I want Queens scream Season 3 I think it’s time now. I don’t actually know who is responsible for the “yes or no” to that, but yes, we should make it happen,” Robert shared with ComicBook.com. I’m so glad people still love it so much, honestly, we had so much fun making it and the fact that I still see girls and guys dressed up like Chanel Oberlin for Halloween, that warms my heart. So I would love it, I would be very frustrated.”
These observations, about both the excitement during Season 3 and the complexities regarding the rights to the series, echo comments Murphy himself made about the project in 2019.
“I would say the answer to that lies in the studio that made it,” Murphy recalls.
