Our last part one It’s already showing off its changes with some new gameplay featuring Tess. There has already been a lot of controversy over the value of Our last part one Because it’s a $70 remake of a game from less than a decade ago. While the remake looks great, many struggle to tell the difference in a way significant enough to warrant an entirely new release. The remake still keeps the story neat and seems to be doing more to harness the power of the PlayStation 5 with a classic storyline. Naughty Dog has already bragged about how the remake allowed them to more accurately represent the actors’ original performances and there’s no better evidence of that than some of the newly released stills.

The difference is really amazing and seems to be a direct response to those who can’t really tell the difference. A show out of context, it can be easy to confuse this with a direct adaptation of HBO the last of us It’s 2023. There’s plenty of detail and depth to the performance itself, not to mention a more defined look for Tess. They look a little older and more solid than they did in the original game, which makes sense given that Joel isn’t exactly young and they seem to have some sort of romantic history in the original game. Still, it’s an impressive feat and it shows just how far Naughty Dog is coming out of PS5.

Regardless of whether the game is actually worth $70 or even justifiable as a remake, it highlights the power of the PlayStation 5. If that’s what Naughty Dog can do with the console early this generation, one can only imagine What they or other top level developers will be able to do with it years from now.
