Bryce Dallas Howard responds to fans who want her to direct a movie

Bryce Dallas Howard has become a mainstay of Star Wars TV. Director and Actor (who can currently be seen in . format Jurassic World Dominionwhich is currently at the top of the box office chart) directed two well-received episodes of The Mandalorian On Disney+, “Chapter 4: Sanctuary” is in the first season of the show and “Chapter 11: The Heiress” is in its second season. She’s back in the Star Wars universe to pull off an episode of The Mandaloriansubstring boba fett bookChapter Five: The Mandalorian Returns, as the title suggests, shifts the focus away from Boba Fett and back to Dean Garen.

Fans enjoyed Howard’s work enough that many invited Lucasfilm to give her a film to direct. Talking to Los Angeles TimesHoward has responded to this fan support, touching on her future as a director and upcoming plans to return to Star Wars on Disney+.

“It’s really, really, really important to me because there’s so much more to learn,” Howard said of looking for her opportunity to direct a feature film for the first time. “I’m related to navigator’s journeybut no text yet.”

As for Star Wars, Howard said “I honestly have no idea!” When asked about the possibility of directing a movie in the franchise. “The support is incredibly moving. I was in a session with Jon Favreau when this was announced – I’m like, ‘Oh, I can say yes, I did another episode!'” “I’m going to suffocate, he’s just the most amazing guy. He was like, ‘Bryce, we were at Celebration and people were so supportive.’ He choked talking about how people hugged me so much. Papa John! I feel so lucky as people are, because I love doing So.

Howard said when asked previously what it would take to make her direct a Star Wars movie Gizmodo. “I think it would take someone to ask me.” She previously commented on fan response to her work on Star Wars by taking to Instagram to say, “I’m on a quick break from recording my audio dramas or Audible and just went online, which can be a very dangerous thing to do, but I’ve seen the responses on episode 3 of MandalorianIt’s the episode I directed and it’s good so far. So far this is good. Very grateful. Very thankful.”

Howard is said to be leading an episode of The MandalorianThe third season, which begins in February 2023. The MandalorianDisney’s first two seasons are now streaming on Disney+.
