One-Punch Man Creators celebrate their 10th anniversary with new art

Believe it or not, the series just celebrated its biggest achievement to date as the manga hit 10 years ago. And of course, what would the anniversary be without some special new art?

Thanks to creators ONE and Yusuke Murata, two honors have been released for them one man punch In honor of its founding anniversary. The first drew a wild drawing of Saitama with a stocky caterpillar as you can see below. As for Morata, the mangaka drew a quick sketch of Saitama in his classic suit, and the hero looks absolutely beautiful in the piece.

As you can imagine, fans love these little tributes. ONE may have started the series with its web comic back in 2009, but Murata helped set it up one man punch On the map with its own manga. By the time the anime came out in 2015, Saitama had his own fan base on hand to support him, and the hero’s army has grown ever since.

The series premiered under Shueisha in 2012, and Madhouse pushed the series into the stratosphere by adapting it to animation. The first season was an instant success although the second season was difficult to find a foothold. Currently, one man punch He continues to do Morata’s manga, and reports have recently confirmed that a real-life Hollywood adaptation of the anime is moving forward. Director Justin Lin will oversee the project and production is expected to begin by the end of this year.
