In the Dreamcast era, Sega has released two entries in the Sonic Adventure series. Games have completely brought Sonic the Hedgehog into the 3D world, creating an audience that has been enthusiastic for over 20 years. In a recent interview with IGN, Team Sonic boss Takashi Izuka was asked about the possibility of making a third entry in the series. While Iizuka seemed open to the idea, he was able to clarify those comments while talking to him Chronicle video games. “In the future, yes, Sonic Adventure 3 exists as an idea that at some point it’s going to be cool to explore, but that’s not part of the plan and that’s not what I’m doing,” Iizuka told VGC. “It’s all about the border [right now] And we don’t have any plans for Sonic Adventure 3 at this point. I just want to be clear with everyone! ”
While the third Sonic Adventure might not be available any time soon, it’s been a while since the original two games were released on more platforms. The first two games can be purchased on Steam and the Microsoft Store, but neither of them were made available on PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch. Sonic Adventure 2 Introduce the world to Shadow the Hedgehog, a character set to play a major role in Paramount’s Sonic the Hedgehog 3. It’s possible that the new movie could provide some incentive for Sega to make these games easier to access, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
