Tuesday night, during the fourth season finale of Mayan MCThat moment finally came. Coates reprized his role as Catig in several scenes, primarily sharing the screen with Marcos Alvarez in Emilio Rivera. The two people build a bond during Sons of Anarchy and their respect for each other leads to a meeting of minds to try to end the war between the Maya and the Sons.
We won’t go into too much detail about how that conversation rocked, trying not to spoil too much, but Tig finally got his chance to get back into the spotlight. Coates had confirmed his return to the franchise earlier in the season.
The war between the Sons and the Maya was a major focal point of Season 4. Before the season started, playmaker and co-presenter Elgin James opened up about the beef between the two clubs.
