My hero academy Action may be tough right now with its full return for Season 6 later this year, but the series has set release dates for when fans around the world will be able to check out OVA’s summer specials! The anime will return this fall with its strongest arc of adaptation yet, but luckily fans will be able to relax a bit this summer with two new special episodes outside of the main story. The first of these specials is now airing, so fans in other regions have been wondering why they got their chance to watch it.
My hero academy He took to the stage with a new special event highlighting some of the future of anime, and with it it’s officially announced that the two new OVA specials now showing in Japan will be releasing worldwide starting August 1st (as spotted by @AIR_News01 on Twitter). Fans attending Anime Expo will be able to check out the first of these new specials much earlier than that as part of the conference’s Crunchyroll Shows, but thankfully it won’t be much longer for anyone else.
Both My Hero Academia Season 5 OVAs (“Hero League Baseball” and “Laugh! As If You Were in Hell”) begin broadcasting worldwide on August 1.

Crunchyroll officially describes the first My hero academia The new OVAs, titled “HLB,” as such, “HLB stands for ‘Hero League of Baseball’ – it’s a baseball league founded by professional champions who love baseball! It’s game day! The last HLB game between Jang Urka and the two rival agencies Shishido. They make up Teams (“Orcas” and “Lionels”) to compete. In the world of HLB, there is no rule – using their quirks is of course acceptable. However, only when the game is about to end are they interrupted by a villain. Who will be the winner in HLB!?”
Synopsis of OVA’s 2nd Movie “Laugh! As If You’re in Hell!” It has yet to be revealed, but it has been confirmed that she will introduce a new villain to the series named Mr. Smiley. It will be voiced by Hironori Kondo (who can be heard in many Super Sentai projects such as Kiki Sentai ZenkagerWhen it debuted, luckily, it was confirmed that it wouldn’t be long before fans outside of Japan would be able to see any of OVA’s new specials.
My hero academy It will also return in October with Season 6 as part of the fall 2022 animation schedule, but a specific launch date has yet to be confirmed as of this writing.
