Bradley Cooper was once mocked for his Oscar nods and didn’t get along with him.
He sat down with Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes on an episode of the podcast SmartLess when he shared that an unnamed director once spoke modestly of his accomplishments.

Bradley has nine Academy Award nominations, but won none.
The actor is a recipient of a British Academy Film Award and two Grammy Awards to his name. It has also received six Golden Globe Award nominations and one for a Tony Award.
Bradley has been nominated for Academy Awards for Best Actor for a Silver Lining Book, Best Supporting Actor for American Hustle, Best Picture and Best Actor for American Sniper, A Star Is Born and Best Picture for a Motion Picture. Joker and “A robot’s nightmare”.
What did he say on the podcast?

He didn’t like the actress’s tone as he told the hosts, “I remember thinking, What city is this?” Can you imagine saying that to someone? “
