John Laurinaitis has been working as WWE’s head of talent relations since the company rehired him in March 2021. An internal memo was issued late Monday night announcing that Lorenitz was placed on administrative leave “pending the conclusion of our board’s internal investigation.” Bruce Pritchard will now step in as interim head of talent relations in addition to his role as CEO of both Monday Night Raw And the Friday Night SmackDown.

As for McMahon, the 76-year-old temporarily resigned from his position as Chairman and CEO during the investigation of his daughter Stephanie McMahon, taking over the position on a temporary basis. However, McMahon will continue to manage WWE’s creatives as its main manager and has appeared on both SmackDown and Raw this past week. The investigation was not mentioned on TV.
