David Dobrik is being sued by fellow YouTuber Jeff Wittek, a former Vlog Squad member who went to Provo, Utah to participate in Dobrik’s “social media comeback.” TMZ He secured the lawsuit, alleging that Wittek was seriously injured as a result of the stunt. per YouTube user, in one video, Dobrik will operate the giant excavatorwhich will be grown in water. However, things seem to have gone south after it was time for Jeff Wittek to partake in the shenanigans. The plaintiff is now said to be seeking $10 million in punitive damages from David Dobrik, citing public negligence and willful tort. He also argues that his income stream has been negatively affected by his injuries. No specific wounds were found in the documents. However, according to TMZ, this isn’t the first time the internet star has spoken out about the incident in Utah. He allegedly claimed that he nearly died that day and that he suffered a broken foot and hip as well as a torn ligament in his leg. Aside from those injuries and head injuries, he also claimed that he nearly lost one of his eyes.
David Dobrik rose to prominence in 2010 with his presence on Vine, and after this platform became non-existent, YouTube became his preferred social media platform.
