Through several popular comedies over the past two decades, Will Ferrell has established himself as one of the most beloved leading entertainment personalities worldwide. Several of his 2000s films have become instant classics, a comedy that movie fans continue to rewatch on a consistent basis to this day. Next month, two of these movies will be showing on Netflix, making it easy to revisit them again.
On Wednesday, Netflix released the full list of movies and TV shows making their way onto the service over the course of July. That list was full of exciting acquisitions and anticipated originals. Among that group were two popular Will Ferrell films: old school And the semi professional.
old school It is still remembered as not only one of Ferrell’s best career paths, but also one of the films that made him a household name. The almost 20-year-old comedy directed by Todd Phillips was originally released in 2003. Eight years later, Ferrell starred in semi professional, basketball player/coach/promoter/owner plays Jackie Moon. While Semi-Pro may not be viewed in the same way as old school, remains one of Ferrell’s most popular quotes to date. Fans of the comedian will surely love to watch both films make their way to Netflix.
