the walking Dead It’s been a major force in the world of comic books and television, with the AMC series garnering some huge reviews and helping push creator Robert Kirkman’s work to new heights. Now, in the latest installment of The Walking Dead Deluxe, a full-color reprint of the original comic book series, the comic book writer has revealed that he won’t, in fact, reveal how the dead walked again, leaving a huge mystery for the series.
the walking Dead The comedy is already over, and the blockbuster AMC series is set to return for its final episodes, although anyone is still guessing when it will air at this point. Confirmed that it will air this year, it will be interesting to see how our heroes wrap up their story and whether any of the cast members from the series will return during the final installments.
In issue #41 of The Walking Dead Deluxe, Kirkman spills the beans on the fact that he “wasn’t interested” in what made the zombies walk the earth but was simply looking at the lives of the characters who were affected and what rickety corpses dedicated to the entire world and its future:
“I wasn’t really interested in dealing with the cause of the zombie outbreak. My opinion is well documented, but the short version is…any detailed explanation would push things too far into the realm of sci-fi for me. I think it’s best left unresolved. That way The story remains. However… a lot of fans wanted me to explore, and I never pissed them off from time to time in ways that I felt were interesting.”
While the last episodes of The walking dead A major TV series set to arrive this year, the series spawns a number of spin-offs that are sure to expand into the world of rotting corpses, with some even taking the opportunity to focus on the main show’s biggest characters.
