Drew McIntyre and Sheamus of WWE’s Secure Spots at Money in the Bank again on SmackDown

After Paul Heyman of The Bloodline finds a way to knock Drew McIntyre and Sheamus out of Money in a Bank Men’s Ladder match on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, they are given another chance to join the match. They will have to team up and win a tag match against the undisputed tag team champions of WWE The Usos. It wouldn’t be easy even if they loved each other, but that couldn’t be further from the case. A common goal can work miracles, and despite disdain for each other and bumping into early in the match, they were able to put their issues aside long enough to get the job done, and with a little help from street earnings, they won the match and made their way to the ladder match for a chance In the bag and the address clip you’re carrying.

When the match started, McIntyre and Sheamus were already arguing, and Butch then ended up entering the ring. Once he was pulled outside, Jimmy went to work at McIntyre, but McIntyre dumped him and tagged him at Sheamus. They both picked Jimmy and hit him down then hit Sheamus up top and took Jimmy, but were thrown into a corner so Jey could launch an attack. Jey was the energetic guy but Sheamus dodged a move and closed in in a patented series of brutal forearm strikes to the chest followed by a guard.

Sheamus mocked McIntyre and then threw McIntyre Butch into the bulkhead to return the favor. Holland’s Ridge tried to break it up but they kept fighting until the Usos went over ropes and collided with them, sending them to the ground. After returning from the announcement, Jey and Sheamus were in the ring, and Sheamus hit several punches and then landed with a broken back but was kicked in the face by Jimmy, who had flagged.

Jimmy Sheamus kept on the floor with a tuck to the midsection and a kick to the head. Jimmy lunges at Sheamus and hits his head in the turnbuckle, then turns again but Sheamus meets him with a huge boot in the face. Sheamus tags McIntyre who has dressed up in Jey three times. He then hit belly to belly suplex but broke into the post and hit his shoulder. Gee hit a great kick and was tagged in Jimmy, who kicked Sheamus nicely from the outside. Then they kicked McIntyre hard and Jimmy climbed to the top. Jimmy hit a cover but Sheamus broke it and saved the match.

He sent Jey Sheamus out of the ring and then hit McIntyre with a neck break on both Usos. McIntyre was on his feet again and waited for the claymores to strike, but Jay knocked Jimmy out of the ring. Jimmy hit a great kick that sent him to the ground, but Butch and Ridge suddenly made their way back to ringside. Then Sami Zayn showed up and went to McIntyre, but Angelo Dawkins broke it and sent Zayn to the barrier.

Montez Ford then joined his partner and came face-to-face with The Usos, then McIntyre cleared everyone out in the ring. Jey is decked out in Brogue Kick’s head and McIntyre spins Jimmy in the ring. McIntyre was met with a super kick but he dodged the next move and hit Claymore, and that was for Usos, McIntyre and Sheamus got the win and the chance to be in the Money in the Bank Ladder match.
