Final Fantasy Registrar Square Enix and DeNA have officially announced their closures. Final Fantasy mobile game basically allowed players to play through pixel versions of the classic franchise moments in an original story where the so-called Guardians of the Records tried to save these records from ruin. The global release of the video game is now closing on September 29 with the ability to buy digital currency turned off from August 30.

In addition, it currently looks like the Japanese version of Final Fantasy Registrar I will continue.

In the game itself, two messages from the developers regarding the shutdown have also been shared. Final Fantasy Registrar Producer Ichiro Hazama shared the following, like Copies of a video game ad by siliconera:

All right. Did you play FFRK to your heart’s content?
For me, this project was a treasure trove full of boundless wonders for the FF series.
Of course, it cannot convey all the magic that is in FF games.
But I like to think we’ve been able to offer glimpses of the unique pixelated graphics, music, amazing battle systems, and more.
Seven years ago when it all started, you could count the number of characters in the game, and the strategic elements were still relatively simple.
But thanks to the many people at DeNA, and of course all of you, the gamers, we were able to create the game you know today.
Words cannot express the gratitude I feel, but nevertheless, allow me to sincerely thank you all for everything over these many years!
One day, I hope our paths cross again.
