PS4 finally gets a long-awaited and highly-rated game today

PS4 users can finally play a long-awaited and highly rated game after eight long years. Once upon a time, Kickstarter was a popular way to fund games and prove the interest of publishers. And there was a time when some games made millions, got a lot of attention, and were a huge hit. The platform isn’t close to being active and popular anymore, but one game was Kickstarted when it finally made it to PS4.

In 2014, it took Aomori One day to be fully funded on Kickstarter. At the time, the game was not announced for PS4, but that eventually changed. The game was originally supposed to release in 2015. It ended up not releasing until 2020, via PC only. Upon release, the game scored an impressive 87 on Metacritic. And these are just the opinions of critics. User ratings are actually higher, which is not very common.

On June 17, 2022 – last week – it arrived on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S. It was also supposed to come to PS4 but was delayed at the last second. Today, the game has arrived on PS4, via PSN, where it costs $29.99. For two, you get a game with 20-70 hours of content, depending on your playing style, and also depends on whether you mainly collect it or go a complete route.

“Explore a strange world filled with colorful friends and foes. Navigate through ordinary and mundane lives in order to discover a forgotten past,” reads the game’s official pitch on the PlayStation Store. “When the time comes, the path you have chosen will determine your destiny… and perhaps the fate of others as well.”
